Tuning, you hear about it at the track, on the web at your local shop, confusing, truth or myth, how do you decide or make the proper choice.

At Cycle Playground we are the typical hole in the wall shop, nothing fancy, just the typical grassroots motorcycle shop. Since 1973 Mike S has been focused on what makes things "go".  That fascination also amazed Mike J at 9 years old, now at 23, the owner of Cycle Playground. Though years of trial and error racing, testing, then picking the brains of industry greats, we have found a niche. It took years of weeding out the fables and track talk to find the method to this madness, now we have found that a simple approach is best. We can give the average racer or rider just what he needs, sure we can hang with the big names and give a perfect spit shined port and polish that they like as well as making your machine purr like a kitten and tear it up like a lion.

Let's keep to the offroad segment for now, regardless of it being 2 wheels, 4 wheels or a water jet or even a snow track, all the basic tuning principals apply. Two stroke is being the easiest for the novice to tinker with, the new wave of 4 strokes are complex but combustion is combustion.

Cycle Playground offers packages from simple jetting and bike set up to complete custom combinations. Our claim to fame are 2 stroke head mods and cylinder mods, but we do so much more. The Japanese machines are done pretty tight from the OEM's, alot of R&D gets done before hand. We can always tweek and improve. The Euro bikes give some room for improvement and we love taking the KTM, Gas Gas and Husky to the next level. The last 12 years of playing with the KTM and TM (Italy) has been awesome. We enjoy bringing you what we learned.

The follow pages shows some of what we do.
